Privacy Policy

Bar Roster is operated by Vantum Works LLC and is currently in early access. The complete Privacy Policy will be published here before public launch. Until then, the essentials:

What we collect

What you give us: your contact details (name, email, phone), your stated location (country, state, and optionally city and ZIP), your profile, your resume text (we keep the extracted text, not the uploaded file), your applications and the answers in them, and — when you choose to do one — the transcript of your intake conversation. The voice recording itself is deleted after transcription; the transcript is the record.

How it's shared

Submitting an application sends a snapshot of your profile, resume, and answers — as they are at that moment — to that venue's organization: the whole team, across all of its venues. Later edits to your profile don't change what they received. The venue may keep your application and contact you about future openings; if you'd rather they didn't, tell them and they'll stop. We don't sell your data, and no one else sees your profile.

How long records are kept

Records tied to a completed application, or one the venue made a decision on (including a pass) — the posting, what you shared, and any intake conversation transcript — are retained as the employer's hiring records for the period required by law (four years in California), even if you later delete your profile. Then they are purged. Applications with no decision and no completed intake are deleted along with your profile.

Your profile is yours

It's reusable on every application, editable any time, and deletable. Deleting your account scrubs your live profile and resume immediately; only the hiring records described above remain, for their legally required window.
